Karakusevic Carson Architects were appointed by the London Borough of Southwark to lead the regeneration of the Hereford and Exeter Estate. The scheme replaces outdated and structurally compromised housing and garages with two new residential buildings of 7 and 14 storeys. In total, 119 new homes will be delivered alongside improved public spaces and a dedicated community facility. The project responds to updated fire safety and planning standards, with a focus on creating safer, more inclusive and better-connected housing for existing and future residents.
